Making a Hit the Road Dude AI video takes about five minutes from start to finish. Here is exactly what to do and how to get a result that clearly looks like you or your pet.

1. Pick the right photo

Use a recent, sharp photo where the face fills a good part of the frame and looks toward the camera. Daylight or even indoor light works best. For pets, get down to eye level so the face is not seen from above.

3. Generate

Press Generate. The scene renders in about 2–3 minutes. You can leave the page; we send an email when it is ready and it also waits in My videos.

4. Download and post

Download the vertical MP4 and post it to TikTok, Reels or Shorts. Keep the AI label and mention that it is AI-generated.
